Roosters are now “Pay to Drop”.
What this means for you:
Too many times, I’ve had people give me a time – and never show up or communicate with me.
Unfortunately, this is a massive time waster for me, and really ticks me off.
So… You pay a deposit of $20, and when you show up with the rooster – you get your money back!
What happens if I don’t show up?
Well, if you just ghost me – I keep your deposit.
If you communicate with me that there’s been a change – i’ll happily refund you.
This sucks – Can you make an exception for me?
Absolutely NOT.
Too many times i’ve been burned by exceptions.
You used to pay me for my roosters?
You’re right, i did.
Unfortunately, people were bringing me very poor condition birds and expecting payment.
That stops.
If you have a very good condition bird, we can discuss a payment from me, to you, of $5/bird.
No promises.
Take my babies, I want them to have a good home!!
I am NOT an animal sanctuary, shelter, rehab, whatever the name of the day is.
I am a operating farm, and all animals have a purpose – and it’s not pets.
This means that Roosters, for example, are used for food when they’ve become too numerous or outlived their need for reproduction.
Okay, Great. What can I bring to you?
I’ll accept the following:
- Full sized adult rooster.
- Mean Roosters
- Crossbred or Purebred Roosters
- Adult male Quail, or any quail, really.
- Muscovy
- Spent/Old hens
- Adult Geese
- Pekins – Must be in good health
I cannot take the following (at this time):
- Polish (Any brand)
- Silkies
- Bantams
- Seramas
- Frizzles/Frazzles
- Chicks younger than 3 months.
- Other small breeds
- Sick birds, Birds with waterbelly or physical deformities
- Other ducks
- Cross-breed Geese or Goslings.
- Turkey
